I bought not only the movie but also the original soundtrack CD of 蒲田行進曲 becoz the 恋人も濡れる街角 in it is actually a slightly different version. With the words "Yokohama xxx" replaced by something else.

Me too. A little bit similar--they both bring a new "naughty/ innocent" feel to what's supposed to be a sad song. I know you like the original, but I also enjoy these new moods. Maybe becoz I've listened to the original too many times (at least 3000 times I guess) My ears and brain need a change

Yes, raw and wild, well said Let's listen to it again.......the way I feel is, when the songs starts, everyone in that video looks like a hero. Normally the guy riding the bike would look like a punk who has a beautiful GF he doesn't deserve , but the song makes everything so beautiful, passionate and romantic. Though the guy seems down & out (no car to send the girl home, seems beat up with a bruise under his lips, etc), suddenly I admire them. In fact when I'm listening to this song in the street, every couple look so beautiful together Though overly intimate lover actions in public may disgust ar_woo . And I feel so grateful to everyone in SAS performing it with such passion .

hahahaha this is so funny ar............. yes the jerk does look like黃子華 a lot ........MAybe 黃子華 also likes this song so much that he wanted to become part of the video ANyway for us guys, our attention is on the girl riding the bike....... she looks very sweet with those long curly hair but she's stuck with a jerk

This Cantonese version appeared almost 10 years earlier than Chris Wong's. I remember buying this LP in ChinaTown when I was overseas, and I still have it today... was shocked and so happy when I heard this last track on this album.... But somehow it never got popular
