I have been using canon 5D for almost a year now.
Resolution is great and is comparable to 645 film for enlargement;
Depth of field is same as 135 film camera;
Only thing is colour management. Since I have gone to digital I have invested a new monitor, monitor calibrator, endless hours of studies and testing to try to get faithful colour on end products. I am still learning and it is an very interesting area.
However, I still shoot film and still got Raymond's old 1v as a back-up and shooting positive (slide) and monochorme.
